Our Clients Say it Best
Vista Verde provided us an amazing house to make wonderful family memories! The house is beautiful, clean, and well laid out for a large group. The view from the balcony was spectacular! The kitchen was extremely well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed hiking the path with our dog. Wimberley is a quaint town and Vista Verde was the perfect place to stay. My interactions with the owner were very pleasant. She was always prompt in answering my questions prior to our stay. We all highly recommend Vista Verde!–Patrice H.
My husband and I took some out of state family to the hill country for a long Memorial Day weekend. We had found the house online in the spring, we loved the views, it fit our group size, budget and allowed dogs, which was a requirement at the time. Despite the rainy weather, it did not disspoint! We thoroughly enjoyed the scenery! We relaxed on the wonderful deck watching deer, listening to birds and being entertained by a family of gray foxes. The house itself is great for a group, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools to eat in, which we did often. It's centrally located near Wimberly, so was great for day trips to Fredericksburg, the Texas Wine Trail, New Braunfels & Canyon Lake. We spent our days out exploring the area, but were always anxious to return to enjoy the evenings on the deck! It was a wonderful, relaxing vacation! I would highly recommend this for a mid to large size group and we certainly hope to return one day!–Alica F.
We had a wonderful stay at the Vista Verde home. We spent the weekend at the Old Settler's Music Festival and this house was a great home base for us as it was only a 20 minute drive over to the festival grounds. We spent each morning having coffee and conversation on the spacious deck overlooking beautiful hill country. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms provided plenty of towels for our group of ten. The home was also baby friendly as it had plenty of toys and other baby gear for our nine month old. My hubby and I were lucky enough to get the master bedroom since we had the lone baby of the group. We forgot to bring our own pillows with us, but in this case we didn't need them. The bed and pillows in the master bedroom were so comfy...it made it tough to get out of bed each morning. We will definitely stay here again for our next outing to the hill country. Thanks to the owners for a comfortable stay.–Nancy D.
